By using any of our apps — Classroom Tools for Teachers, Potter’s Log, or Time & Care — you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Who We Are

Hi Friends! Software is an independent software studio dedicated to privacy-first, user-controlled design.
Our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and are intended for use by educators, artists, and professionals who value security, simplicity, and creativity.

2. Using Our Apps

  • You may use our apps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

  • You retain ownership of all data you create or store in our apps.

  • Hi Friends! Software never has access to your content or accounts.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and iCloud account.

We care deeply about your privacy.
Each Hi Friends! app is designed so that no personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared.

All app designs, names, icons, logos, and written content are the intellectual property of Hi Friends! Software.

5. No Warranties

Our apps are provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties.
While we aim for reliability and security, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or complete error-free performance.
You use our apps at your own discretion and risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hi Friends! Software and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use (or inability to use) our apps or website.
We do not assume responsibility for any data loss or device issues that may arise.

7. App Updates

We may update or improve our apps over time.
By installing updates, you agree to the updated version of these terms if notified within the app or App Store.
We recommend keeping all apps updated for the best and most secure experience.

8. Children’s Use

Classroom Tools for Teachers is designed for use by educators in compliance with FERPA and COPPA.
Hi Friends! Software does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Our other apps are designed for adult professional use but remain fully COPPA-compliant.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
